Concentrations

Literature

Choose this concentration and trusts world, American and British literature with classical and contemporary works. One of the developed skills is a narrower reading, critical thinking, analytical and problem solving, empathy and belief integration.

This path advises you to pursue the graduate studies to become teachers at the middle school, high school, community college or university level; participate in the legal school; or earn a degree in library science.

Writing

Choose a write concentration and writing in a variety of genres, including creative writing (poetry, fiction, creative fiction), journalistic writing and technical / business letter. The developed skills include analyzes and writing for specific audiences, marketing, editing and publication. This concentration requires an internship experience.
